What is the Creation Reformation Blog?

By Jake Ramgren

If you are reading this, you have stumbled upon the Creation Reformation blog. Welcome!

This is the third blog I have made or contributed to regularly. Why do we need another blog?

The answer is, we don't.

There are already a host of blogs, websites, and channels dedicated to the topic of origins. But just because we don't need another blog, doesn't mean there are no advantages to this one. The Creation Reformation blog is more like a forum for discussion. The subject is creation, but this singular issue touches so many other areas of life that to limit it to science alone would be foolish.

I designed this website to be more than just a science site. This is a place for philosophy, theology, education, teaching, learning, and simply thinking deeply about the world. And the best part is, anyone can participate.

Yes, we have a core group of writers who are dedicated to keeping you updated on the worlds of science, education, media, and culture. But if you have thoughts on creation, and you wish to share them, feel free to send us an article submission. We would love to hear your thoughts! Email your post in a Word document to Creationreformationnewengland@gmail.com for review.

Just be sure you stick to some rules:

  • The post's topic is related to that of origins (creation, evolution, the book of Genesis, etc.)
  • The post does not exceed 5,000 words
  • The post does not attack or ridicule a person, group, or position
  • The post is academically sound with works cited when necessary

Keep in mind we may not publish your article for a reason other than not meeting the above requirements (we will tell you why we reject the article). We do invite disagreeing opinions, as long as they are respectful.

I am not sure what to say next. I cannot promise these rules will stay the same. We might realize this was a grave error and need to overhaul the blog. But in a world that desperately needs more discussion, dialogue, and exchange of ideas, this is one place that can be a forum for discussions on origins.

I don't even know where this is going, and that's why I am excited. I started this page because I am passionate about bringing the creation movement to New England. If you read, write, or share this blog, you are helping us achieve that goal.

Thank you for stopping by, and for being a part of the Creation Reformation!
